My Ego

 This has been a good week for boosting my ego.

Not only the encounter with the gent who wanted me to draw him a helicopter, but just now - again, while sitting in my local coffee shop and scribbling, I've had one of the proprietors mention that they are going to clear wallspace and post artwork, and he came to me first! Soonafter, a patron noted my scribbling and asked to see. He liked it a lot. Then, I went for more coffee and ANOTHER of the shop's runners made sure to reaffirm that I'd be willing to contribute!

I feel great! And somewhat over-caffeinated, but that's not a bad thing in my case!

I used the hundred bucks that the aforementioned patron paid me for the helicopter to pay outstanding debt on my old bank account that got shut down when I was in the hospital last year. I applied for a new account and card, which should be arriving in the mail very soon. Once that happens, I can reopen my Patreon and Ko-Fi accounts.

I believe that it is for sure time for me to get back into doing commissions and trying to spread myself around! Next order of biz is to pick out wall-worthy art and touch it up with every art supply that I have at my disposal for posting on the walls of the coffeeshop. I am also thinking of generating 2 donate-only comics. One family friendly and one NSFW, both to draw attention to my Patreon.

I may have to put free/ComicFury stuff on the backburner until maybe next year, if that happens. I'll suss that out later. Right now, I am riding high on the mere thought that SOMEBODY likes what I do!
